Eduroam: iPhone Configuration Assistance Tool

Troubleshooting guide for providing Apple Iphones with access to the Eduroam network

Step 1: Download the Profile

1. Open Safari or your browser on your iPhone and go to cat.eduroam.org.

2. Tap the blue box to download the installer.
   

3. Search for and select Virginia Community College System (type out the full name if it doesn't appear right away).
   

4. Tap the link for the installation file.
   

5. Tap Allow when asked to download a configuration profile, then tap Close.
   
   
   

Step 2: Install the Profile

1. Open your iPhone’s Settings app.
   

2. Tap Profile Downloaded near the top of the menu.

3. Tap Install in the top-right corner, then enter your passcode if prompted.
   

4. Tap Next, then tap Install again to confirm.
   
   
   

Step 3: Log In

1. Enter your myVCCS username and password.

   ⚠️ Important: Double-check your login details. This step does not verify if your password is correct, so any typos will keep you from connecting.

   

   

2. Tap Done to complete setup.
   

You're all set! Your iPhone will now automatically connect to the eduroam Wi-Fi network whenever you are on campus.
