On March 28, 2025, at 10:00 pm CST, myVCCS transitioned from standard 10-digit phone numbers to a 6-digit shortcode for all text messages sent from our RapidIdentity system.
What Changed
- New Shortcode: 432886 (spells "IDAUTO") transitioned from original 10-digit numbers
Benefits
This change improves SMS messaging reliability by using carrier pre-approved shortcodes. These specialized numbers:
- Bypass carrier content filtering and spam blocks
- Provide consistent identification for all RapidIdentity messages
- Enhance message delivery reliability
