Learn how to Remap a Share for a Network Drive
Assumption
You have the appropriate permissions within VCCS to share network drives.
Steps
Remove the disconnected share by right clicking on it and choosing
Disconnect
Click
Map Network Drive
at the top of the window
Select a drive letter and provide the folder location, for example:
Make sure that the
Reconnect at sign-in
and
Connect using different credentials
boxes are checked like the example above.
Enter your MyVCCS user ID in the format of DIRECTORY\<MyVCCS user ID> (example, DIRECTORY\abc1234) and enter your password. Note that you may have to click the Use a different account button to enter the credentials correctly
Click OK
A new window should pop up with the contents of the share.
