SIS: Restoring Emplid from Archive

Overview:

Users can now use a self-service page to submit 'restore from Archive' requests. 

The navigation is Main Menu > VCCS Custom > General Processes > Process > Restore EMPLIDs from Archive

Once submitted, a batch job runs every three hours to process the restore requests.

The Restore batch job runs every 3 hours in SIS PROD on the following schedule:

1:00PM  4:00PM  7:00PM  10:00PM  1:00AM  4:00AM  7:00AM  10:00AM

It automatically processes restore requests that have been submitted and restores the data to both SIS and HRMS.  It also updates the “ARC” service indicator. 

 

Instructions:

To submit an emplid to be restored from Archive to Production:

1-Navigate to the page shown below and click on “Add a New Value” (Note: if desired you can also use “Find an Existing Value” to make sure the emplid has not already been entered.)

2-Enter the desired emplid and click “Add “   (“Submitted By” will be populated automatically)

3-On the next screen you can enter “Restore Reason” and “Description” if desired (this is not required)

4-Click Save (Now the emplid has been submitted for restore.)
