System Office employees will have their vccs.edu password expire regularly and will need to set a new one. They will receive email reminders because it should be done before it expires. Once changed, various systems need to synchronize, so be sure to stay connected to the VPN for 45 minutes if you are changing your password remotely.

Stay connected to VPN
After changing your password, stay connected to the VPN for 45 minutes.
Windows
To change your password and sync, do the following:
- Connect to the GlobalProtect VPN: ARBVPN, if you are not already
- Press the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys, and click on ‘Change Password’
- Update password:
- Enter your old (current) password
- Enter new password
- Minimum of 8 characters
- 3 of the 4 following – UPPER CASE, lower case, Symbol and Numbers
- Re-enter to confirm new password
You should receive prompts to log in to Teams and Outlook (Teams may be within 20 minutes, and Outlook within 30 min), after changing your password. After this happens you can reboot your computer.
Mac
To change your password, do the following:
- Connect to the GlobalProtect VPN: ARBVPN, if you are not already
- Click on the key with a circle from the taskbar (Enterprise Connect), and click on ‘Change Password’
- Update password:
- Enter your old (current) password
- Enter new password
- Minimum of 8 characters
- 3 of the 4 following – UPPER CASE, lower case, Symbol and Numbers
- Re-enter to confirm new password
You should receive prompts to log in to Teams and Outlook (Teams may be within 20 min, and Outlook within 30 min), after changing your password. After this happens you can reboot your computer.

From Taskbar
When prompted login to Teams and Outlook with your new password (approve requests from Microsoft Authenticator as normal), then reboot your laptop and verify that you can use your new password at the SEE login prompt, as well for Windows, and reconnect to GlobalProtect VPN: ARBVPN using your new password.
Mobile Apps
In addition, don’t forget to update your Outlook and Teams mobile apps on your cell phones. For Outlook, you should see a prompt like below. Click SIGN IN, and enter your new password. For Teams, you will be prompted to Pick an Account enter your new password, and approve the sign-in request with Microsoft Authenticator.
